Rendering Studies

Decided to post something that is not prohibited by NDA's

Just a rendering study with animal anatomy. Very difficult to find good references on google. :/

Scolopendra's Flight

A centipede with a ion jet-pack navigates his way past a pond into a grassy wetland.

scolopendra means centipede in Latin.

This is an environment painting of a question if insects were technologically advanced in order to suit their needs in the small world.

Contest Submission to BlueCanvas's Contest theme "Enviorments".
Quite unlikely that I will win, but I gave it my best shot at it. Alot of it was changed because the composition of elements was too difficult to do or defied 3d perspective.

You can see the submission here http://www.bluecanvas.com/art-detail/402070

Cheers
